Baptism at St. Luke's.
Baptism is one of the oldest sacraments of the church and is a sign of new life in Christ. Through water and the Holy Spirit the newly baptized is welcomed into the community of Christians that has remained unbroken since the beginning of the church that Christ instituted. It is an exciting and spiritual uplifting event where parents, godparents and the members of our congregation take on the responsibility to nurture and uphold each other in the faith. Baptisms at St. Luke’s takes place regularly during the 10:30 am Sunday service and we would be delighted to engage you in conversation and answer any questions you may have if you are considering baptism, either for your child or for you as an adult. Please contact us by e-mail or by phone or just drop by and check us out on Sunday morning.
In Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourself in Christ. There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male or female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26-28)
